Reports indicated that Forto-Sawa sub-zone is registering encouraging progress in education, thus facilitating student-centered teaching-learning process. Forto-Sawa, 18 April 2010 – Reports indicated that Forto-Sawa sub-zone is registering encouraging progress in education, thus facilitating student-centered teaching-learning process.
Noting that the number of schools in the sub-zone has increased since independence, the report disclosed that a growing number of students are seizing the available educational opportunity in the sub-zone.
The head of social service in the sub-zone, Mr. Abdu Mohammod, stated that thanks to the relentless efforts the Government continues to exert, schools have now opened in each administrative area in the sub-zone.
Reports further indicated that the Forto-Sawa Boarding School is providing educational opportunity up to Grade 8 to students from Hashenkit, Keru, Tessenei, Forto-Sawa, Kulntebai, Togoruba, Tamarat, Adibara, Agomo, Adi-Ibrahim, Wakai, Fedadab, Senketkinab and Tal’ai.
There are 9 elementary, 3 junior and 4 kindergarten schools in Forto- Sawa sub-zone.
