Youth graduates from various health colleges are playing vital role in easing shortage of skilled health professionals and reinforcing the impressive achievement registered in the sector, according to Dr. Beyene Tewolde, Medical Director of Halibet Hospital.

Asmara, 23 April 2010 – Youth graduates from various health colleges are playing vital role in easing shortage of skilled health professionals and reinforcing the impressive achievement registered in the sector, according to Dr. Beyene Tewolde, Medical Director of Halibet Hospital.

Noting that the young graduates are highly disciplined and maintain close relations with patients, he explained that the strenuous endeavors made in this regard are bearing fruitful outcome.

Heads of bone surgery and dental care rooms in the Hospital, Dr. Mahmoud Mohammed Omar and Dr. Wunesh Tesfai respectively, said that previously there existed lack of health professionals and work load. At present, however, work load has been alleviated as a result of the growing number of young graduates from various health colleges, they added.

Youth graduates in the field expressed appreciation to the educational opportunity provided to them and pledged to serve the public with diligence.
