President Isaias sends message of congratulations to President Omar Hassen Al-Beshir of the Republic of Sudan and Gen. Salva Kiir Miyardit, President of South Sudan Government

President Isaias Afwerki sent message of congratulations to Marshal Omar Hassen Al-Beshir, President of the Republic of Sudan, and General Salva Kiir Miyardit, President of the South Sudan Government.

Asmara, 26 April 2010 – President Isaias Afwerki sent message of congratulations to Marshal Omar Hassen Al-Beshir, President of the Republic of Sudan, and General Salva Kiir Miyardit, President of the South Sudan Government.

In his message to the Sudanese leader, President Isaias congratulated President Omar Al-Beshir on his own behalf and that of the people and Government of Eritrea upon his election as President of the Republic of Sudan. He further wished him success in his work as well as progress and prosperity to the bilateral relations between the brotherly peoples and governments of the two countries.

Likewise, in his message to General Salva Kiir Miyardit, President Isaias congratulated him on his own behalf and that of the people and Government of Eritrea upon his election as President of the South Sudan Government. Moreover, he wished him success in his work.
