He also stressed the importance of strengthening organizational capacity and exerting utmost soil and water conservation activities towards achieving food security, and reminded farmers to make the necessary preparations before the onset of the rainy season.
Mr. Gergis went on to explain that there are plans to construct dams in various areas so as to alleviate shortage of potable water supply. The renovation of Liban Elementary School has also been finalized, and that other service-rendering facilities would be put in place, he added.
