Efforts to develop manpower resources registering commendable outcome

Efforts being exerted by the Ministry of Tourism towards upgrading manpower potentials so as to render effective service are registering commendable outcome, Stated Mr. Tekle Firezgi, in charge of manpower development in the Ministry.
Asmara, 28 April 2010 – Efforts being exerted by the Ministry of Tourism towards upgrading manpower potentials so as to render effective service are registering commendable outcome, Stated Mr. Tekle Firezgi, in charge of manpower development in the Ministry.

In an interview with ERINA, he pointed that the Ministry has offered various training courses regarding reception, management, catering and the likes through national and foreign experts. Mr. Tekle explained that the training courses aim at enhancing human resource capacity at all levels. He added that encouraging outcome has been registering as regards rendering improved service in the tourism sector.

The Ministry’s branch office has provided training to more than 2,700 youths since 1998, according to reports.
