More efforts needed for preserving achievement registered in prevention of malaria
In a meeting he held with heads of agencies and community elders in Anseba region regarding malaria epidemic, Dr. Towelde Gebremeskel, director of malaria control department in the Ministry of Health, stressed the need for putting up more efforts towards consolidating the achievements already registered as regards malaria eradication.
Keren, 30 April 2010 – In a meeting he held with heads of agencies and community elders in Anseba region regarding malaria epidemic, Dr. Towelde Gebremeskel, director of malaria control department in the Ministry of Health, stressed the need for putting up more efforts towards consolidating the achievements already registered as regards malaria eradication.
Pointing out that concerted efforts on the part of the general public in combating epidemic have been satisfactory, he called on the local inhabitants of Anseba region to enhance their role in preserving the achievements the region has already registered.
Expressing satisfaction with the attained achievements, the participants of the meeting adopted a number of recommendations and resolutions.
