The tourists from Italy, Switzerland and Poland visited different parts of the country and expressed their admiration to its tourism resources.
Dr. Alex Shalberger, who stayed in Eritrea for a month as a tourist, said that he was impressed with the unpolluted Eritrean seawaters and the lifestyle of the people. Still another visitor, Mr. Bortoz Kula from Poland, equally voiced similar impressions.
Also an Italian tourist, Mr. Stefano Petini, who visited the country on different occasions during the past 10 years, explained that he had developed deep special interest with the Eritrean steam engine locomotive. He further stated that the investment the nation made in reactivating the railways has created an additional source of vital tourism attraction.
