Asmara, 3 May 2010- The first Conference of the YPFDJ branch in Jeddah was conducted from 28 to 30 April.
In the conference which was held within the premises of the Eritrean Consulate General, Mr. Abdallah Jabir, Head of Organizational Affairs at the PFDJ, pointed out that the activities conducted by youths in the Saudi city in a year was commendable. He further reminded the need for higher awareness and organizational capability on the part of the youth, and thereby fulfills the responsibility entrusted to them.
Also speaking on the occasion, the Eritrean Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohammed Omar Mahmoud, outlined the role the nation’s youth played in the past and at present. He further called on the youth to live up to expectations as regards reinforcing the national resolute rebuff.
The Chairman of the YPFDJ branch in Jeddah, Mr. Abubeker Shinkehai, on his part explained that the Eritrean youths are confidently fulfilling their duties in preserving national values and promoting national interest.
Following in-depth deliberations on the action program of the YPFDJ branch in Jeddah, the participants of the conference approved the program and elected an executive body.
