High-level Eritrean government delegation conducts official visit in South Africa

A high-level Eritrean government delegation headed by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh conducted an official visit in the Republic of South Africa from 26 to 30 April. 
Asmara, 3 May 2010- A high-level Eritrean government delegation headed by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh conducted an official visit in the Republic of South Africa from 26 to 30 April. 

During the visit, the delegation held talks with the South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkona-Mashabane and other government officials on promoting bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest to both countries.

Moreover, the Eritrean delegation gave extensive briefings at the Institute of Strategic Studies (ISS) in Pretoria to a number of African intellectuals and researchers on the objective situation in Eritrea and its role in the Horn of Africa.
