Presidents Isaias and Muammar Al-Khadafi hold talks on bilateral relations and regional issues

President Isaias Afwerki and the Libyan leader, Muammar Al-Khadafi, today held talks in Tripoli focusing on  bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest to both countries.

Asmara, 6 May 2010 – President Isaias Afwerki and the Libyan leader, Muammar Al-Khadafi, today held talks in Tripoli focusing on  bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest to both countries.

In the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views regarding the Sahle-Saharan Community of States (CEN-SAD) and the African Union (AU), as part of the continuous consultations and sharing of views between the two leaders.

President Isaias arrived in Libya in the morning hours today concluding a two-day visit to Egypt.
