Service-rendering establishments and taxi owners pledge to enhance role in crime prevention

During a lecture given to over 1,400 participants, comprising nationals from service-rendering establishments, taxi owners, individuals running car rental and travel agencies pledged to enhance their role in preserving the prevailing peace in the country.
Asmara, 8 May 2010 – During a lecture given to over 1,400 participants, comprising nationals from service-rendering establishments, taxi owners, individuals running car rental and travel agencies pledged to enhance their role in preserving the prevailing peace in the country.

At the lecture offered by senior police officers, briefings was given on the mission of the Eritrean Police Force and the role of the society at large in the prevention of crime, among others.

Indicating that the lecture served an important purpose in strengthening relations between the general public and the police, in addition to raising awareness, the police officers called on members of the society to make due contribution in realizing the set goal.
