Agriculture Experts And Administrators In The Central Region Called On To Strengthen Efforts In Coordinating Farmers’ Activities

The Administrator of the Central Region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet called on agriculture experts as well as village and sub zonal administrators in the region to strengthen their efforts in coordinating farmers’ activities with a view to boosting the food security endeavors.
Asmara, 10 May 2010- The Administrator of the Central Region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet called on agriculture experts as well as village and sub zonal administrators in the region to strengthen their efforts in coordinating farmers’ activities with a view to boosting the food security endeavors.

In a meeting held with administrators and agriculture experts in the Serejeka sub zone, Mr. Kahsai indicated that food security endeavors could bear successful outcome if farmers learn to use and adopt modern farming techniques and stressed that experts in the field need to step up their efforts in transferring their knowledge.

Mr.Kahsai went on to remind the administrators of their role in coordinating farmers’ activities and creating conducive grounds for better productivity.
