Thousands of Eritrean nationals in diaspora are making preparations to visit the Homeland and spend their holidays among their people, reports from different parts of the world indicated.
Asmara, 11May 2010- Thousands of Eritrean nationals in diaspora are making preparations to visit the Homeland and spend their holidays among their people, reports from different parts of the world indicated.
All relevant organizations have been reminded to extend the necessary assistance to the nationals who are arriving in their country to participate in the 19th Independence Anniversary Celebrations and the 4th Youth Festival in Sawa.
Meanwhile, the coordinating committee of the Sawa Youth Festival stated that necessary preparations are underway to celebrate the festival in a manner that reflects the role of the youth in the nation building process and the overall resolute national rebuff.
The committee went on to add that a number activities have been planned for the Festival which will be held from 16 to 19 July that will enable the youth to look out to the future beyond temporary problems and motivate them to become competent and committed citizens.
Moreover, a number of study papers, seminars by government and PFDJ officials, presentations on the progress of the Warsai-Yikealo campaign, cultural shows and other activities will take place during the Festival which is being conducted with the collaboration of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS) and the Center of Education and Training in Sawa.
It is expected that in addition to the 3,000 participants from inside the country, over 2,000 youth from different parts of the world will take part in the Festival.
Indicating that young innovators and manufacturers from different parts of the country have been continuously encouraged, the committee pointed out that particular attention will be given to such youth during the Festival.
Furthermore, an international conference aimed at creating common understanding and exchanging experience with partner organizations from around the world will be convened on the occasion of the Festival.
