Fruit And Vegetable Farms In The Geleb Sub Zone Registering Growth

Fruits and Vegetable farms in the Geleb sub zone are registering growth and playing a major role in stabilizing local markets, according to the head of the branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub zone, Mr. Jabir  Ibrahim. Geleb, 12 May 2010- Fruits and Vegetable farms in the Geleb sub zone are registering growth and playing a major role in stabilizing local markets, according to the head of the branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub zone, Mr. Jabir  Ibrahim.

Mr. Jabir told ERINA that the climate of the area is conducive for vegetable farming and that the farmers are cultivating a variety of fruits and vegetables. He also added that over 350 hectares of land is being used for such activities by different farmers.
