In connection with the 19th Independence Anniversary, the President of Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of Netherlands, President of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard sent messages of congratulations to President Isaias Afwerki.

Asmara, 23 May 2010 – In connection with the 19th Independence Anniversary, the President of Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of Netherlands, President of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard sent messages of congratulations to President Isaias Afwerki.
