Youths called upon to redouble endeavors in national development drive

Laelai-Gash, 7 June 2010 – In a meeting with youths in Laelai-Gash, the Commander of the Western Command, Maj. General Haile Samuel, called on them to properly preserve the history and culture of the society and redouble endeavors for the success of the national development drive.

Noting that the Government is implementing various development programs towards improving the people’s standard of living, he stressed the need for the youth to enhance participation in the implementation process.

The participants of the meeting on their part stated that the putting in place of various infrastructure facilities and social services is bringing about noticeable improvement in the people’s life style  and expressed readiness to live up to the nation’s expectations.
