New water reservoir constructed in Agordat sub-zone

A new water reservoir has been constructed in Deret administrative area, Agordat sub-zone, according to the supervisor of the project, Mr. Teklehaimanot Yebio.
Agordat, 9 June 2010 – A new water reservoir has been constructed in Deret administrative area, Agordat sub-zone, according to the supervisor of the project, Mr. Teklehaimanot Yebio.

The construction of the reservoir is in line with the Government’s endeavors to ease potable water supply problem in the area and that the local inhabitants took active role in the undertaking.

The Administrator of the area, Mr.  Humed Mohammed Idris, said that the reservoir would make due contribution in providing potable water supply to the inhabitants along with their cattle, in addition to reinforcing soil and water conservation activities.
The local inhabitants expressed satisfaction with the undertaking.
