Administrator calls on youths to vigilantly meet challenges

In a meeting with high school students in Keren town, the Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai, called on youths to be well aware of the objective situation in the country and vigilantly meet challenges.
Keren, 12 June 2010 – In a meeting with high school students in Keren town, the Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai, called on youths to be well aware of the objective situation in the country and vigilantly meet challenges.

He further stressed the need for the youth to enhance contribution to the national development drive, as they are the driving force of the nation-building process.  Mr. Gergis also called on them to avail themselves of the existing educational opportunities, and thereby become productive and ensure their bright future.

Highlighting the paramount importance of development and agricultural infrastructure programs in efforts to achieve food security, the Administrator reminded parents to play major role in bequeathing the society’s cherished values and culture to the young generation. 

The students adopted a number of resolutions and recommendations highlighting the need to organize visits to development projects and conducting similar meetings, among others.
