Agordat sub-zone: Martyrs’ families laud continues support of the people and Government

Families of fallen heroes in Agordat sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the financial and material support being extended on the part of the people and the Government.
Agordat, 12 June 2010 – Families of fallen heroes in Agordat sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the financial and material support being extended on the part of the people and the Government.

Mr. Suleiman Adem who lives in the sub-zone contributed 500 Nakfa each to 20 martyrs’ families. He indicated that the donation is in line with the commitment to honor the trust of martyrs.

A representative of the sub-zonal Administrator, Mr. Hadish Asgedom, commended the inhabitants for taking a benevolent initiative towards supporting families of fallen heroes.

The head of social services in the sub-zone, Ms. Fatima Idris, on her part noted the significance of the contribution being made by the Eritrean people at home and abroad in improving the living standard of martyrs’ families. In this respect, she called on every citizen to play due role in assisting martyrs’ families.
