Basic Needs Of The Public In Adi-Keih Sub-Zone Met, Says Administrator

The Administrator of Adi-Keih sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Hamid, said that basic needs of the public have already been met thanks to the implementation of major development programs.
Adi-Keih, 15 June 2010 – The Administrator of Adi-Keih sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Hamid, said that basic needs of the public have already been met thanks to the implementation of major development programs.

He explained that more than 20 administrative areas in the sub-zone have now been connected to one another by road networks and that a number of health stations have been constructed, in addition to the implementation of potable water supply projects.

Noting that electricity supply is being installed in 10 villages of the sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed pointed out that some of the villages have already become beneficiaries of power supply, which in turn would encourage investment ventures. He further stated that health and education service which used to be confined only to Adi-Keih town have now been expanded to all administrative areas.

Mr. Mohammed went on to say that major programs are envisaged for implementation focusing on asphalting of roads, construction of junior school in Emba-Kuakot, implementation of potable water supply in Kentetefe and the like.
