Regional Assembly Chairman Calls For Enhanced Contribution To Martyrs’ Families In Gash-Barka Region

The Chairman of the Gash-Barka Regional Assembly, Mr. Osman Mohammed Ali, called on the general public to step up contribution in support of martyrs’ families. Tessenei, 15 June 2010 -The Chairman of the Gash-Barka Regional Assembly, Mr. Osman Mohammed Ali, called on the general public to step up contribution in support of martyrs’ families.

He stated that the popular campaigns being undertaken in support of martyrs families’ especially in agricultural activities is giving a moral boost to the families.

Mr. Osman further pointed out that the financial assistance being extended by owners of various business ventures in the region in general and those in Tessenei in particular to martyrs’ families amply demonstrate the honor they accord to fallen heroes. He also called on others to emulate such a benevolent gesture.
