Eritrean nationals residing in the UK commemorated Martyrs’ Day. In the commemorative event held in London, the nationals pointed out that it is their pledge to live up to martyrs’ trust and expressed their readiness to play due role in supporting the families of fallen heroes.
Asmara, 21 June 201- Eritrean nationals residing in the UK commemorated Martyrs’ Day. In the commemorative event held in London, the nationals pointed out that it is their pledge to live up to martyrs’ trust and expressed their readiness to play due role in supporting the families of fallen heroes.
They went on to say that Eritreans inside the country and abroad are striving hard in coordination with their government to live up to martyrs’ trust and that they are proud of the development progress achieved so far.
The Eritrean Ambassador to the UK and Ireland, Mr. Tesfamichael Gerahtu, said that every national who has been able to experience freedom is duty bound to honor the pledge to the martyrs. He went on to remind the participants to reinforce their efforts in supporting families of fallen heroes.
Reports from the area indicated that various programs reflecting the Day were presented at the event.
