Eritrean citizens in the Netherlands express resolve in honoring martyrs’ trust

Eritrean citizens  residing in the Dutch cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Campen reiterated readiness to reinforce support to families of fallen heroes and the Martyrs Trust Fund.

Asmara, 23 June 2010 – Eritrean citizens  residing in the Dutch cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Campen reiterated readiness to reinforce support to families of fallen heroes and the Martyrs Trust Fund.

Also during the commemoration of June 20, the nationals donated 9,210 Euro to the same cause, while 22 individuals assumed the responsibility of assisting each martyrs’ families for the period of 2 years.

Meanwhile, Mr. Michael Tesfamariam and Ms. Genet Habtetsion, couples who reside in Hirversum, the Netherlands, contributed 25,000 Nakfa for the same purpose out of the money intended for their 25th  wedding anniversary.

Similarly, Eritrean citizens living in South Africa commemorated Martyrs Day with patriotic zeal and expressed resolve to live up to martyrs’ trust.
