Inhabitants Of Adi-Quala Sub-Zone Reiterate Readiness To Step Up Contribution Towards Development Endeavors

The inhabitants of Adi-Quala sub-zone reiterated readiness to step up contribution towards the ongoing development drive. They made this pledge in a meeting conducted regarding food security and improving peoples’ standard of living.

Adi-Quala, 27 June 2010 – The inhabitants of Adi-Quala sub-zone reiterated readiness to step up contribution towards the ongoing development drive. They made this pledge in a meeting conducted regarding food security and improving peoples’ standard of living.

The Administrator of the Southern Region, Mr. Mustafa Nurhussein, noted that the Government is making relentless efforts to achieve food security and improve the living standard of the people. He added that encouraging achievements have been registered as part of the nation-building process.

Pointing out that vigorous endeavors are being carried out to further expand access to education, Mr. Mustafa said that additional classrooms are being constructed in Bet-Gebrael, Maigume, Tseratsr, Obel and Adi-Quala. As regards to health services, he stressed the need for extensive campaigns to prevent communicable diseases and ensure mother and child safety.
