Inhabitants of Adi-Tekelezan Express Satisfaction with Expansion of Social Service

The inhabitants of Adi-Tekelezan  sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the expansion of service-rendering institutions in different parts of the sub-zone that are making due contribution in improving the people’s life style.
Adi-Tekelezan, 28 June 2010 – The inhabitants of Adi-Tekelezan  sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the expansion of service-rendering institutions in different parts of the sub-zone that are making due contribution in improving the people’s life style.

The local inhabitants explained that they have reliable access to health, education and potable water supply and other services, which in turn enabled them to lead improved living standard.

They further stated that the installation of telephone and electricity services, as well as market center of cattle, vegetable and fruits are playing significant role in facilitating the urbanization of the area. The road network linking all administrative areas with one another is equally making due contribution to this end, they added.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Kafil Mussa, pointed out on his part that more than 1,400 families in Deki-Zeru, Wara, Dekemhare and Deki-Gebru have become beneficiaries of a 24-hour electricity service.

Reports indicated that there are 20 education institutions and a road network connecting all villages in the sub-zone, as well as 11 micro-dams and water reservoirs. Besides, 6,850 nationals have become beneficiaries of agricultural land as a result of the land leveling program undertaken over the past 2 years.
