Southern Red Sea Region: Youths Finalize Preparations For Participation In ERI-Youth Festival

The youths in the Southern Red Sea region finalized preparations for participation in the 4th ERI-Youth Festival scheduled to be held in Sawa from July 16 to 19.
Asmara, 29 June 2010 – The youths in the Southern Red Sea region finalized preparations for participation in the 4th ERI-Youth Festival scheduled to be held in Sawa from July 16 to 19.

The chairperson of the festival organizing committee in the region, Ms. Kedija Omar, indicated that the necessary preparations have been made to properly highlight the rich cultural heritage of the region and the creativity of the youth through staging various programs, including modern and traditional sports activities, as well as cultural programs, among others. About 350 youths from the region would take part in the Festival.

She further called on institutions and organizations in the region to demonstrate the necessary collaboration in backing up the youth activities.
