Necessary preparations being made to control malaria in Dirfo administrative area

The necessary preliminary activities are being made in Dirfo administrative area, Central region, to control the possible spread of malaria infection before the onset of the rainy season, according to Mr. Fisehaye Sium, head of the health station in the area.
Dirfo, 30 June 2010 – The necessary preliminary activities are being made in Dirfo administrative area, Central region, to control the possible spread of malaria infection before the onset of the rainy season, according to Mr. Fisehaye Sium, head of the health station in the area.

He explained that mosquito net has been provided to each family in the area, in addition to covering up mosquito-breeding spots. Mr. Fisehaye went on to say that public awareness regarding health service is on the rise as a result of the continuous lectures and campaigns. He also called on the inhabitants to actively engage in efforts to promote environmental sanitation.

The local inhabitants on their part expressed satisfaction with the provision of reliable service on the part of the health station.
