National Youth Festival Is An Occasion That Indicates The Future Of The Country: NUEYS Chairman

In an interview he conducted with ERINA, the Chairman of the NUEYS, Mr. Sultan Sied, said that the National Youth Festival is a special event which brings Eritrean youth from both inside the country and abroad together while at the same time highlighting ongoing development endeavors as well as indicating where the country is headed.

Asmara, 4 July 2010 – In an interview he conducted with ERINA, the Chairman of the NUEYS, Mr. Sultan Sied, said that the National Youth Festival is a special event which brings Eritrean youth from both inside the country and abroad together while at the same time highlighting ongoing development endeavors as well as indicating where the country is headed.

He went on to add that the Festival which is going to be held under the theme “Our Youth: Guarantors Of Our Future” is expected to create a conducive ground for reflecting the right image of the country and deliberating on the tasks that remain for the realization of the ultimate goal.

Pointing out that the responsibilities of the nation building process mainly lie upon the shoulders of the youth, Mr. Sultan expressed conviction that the national gathering would provide an opportunity to share experiences and promote the country’s unique endowments.

Reports disclosed that over 2,000 youth from different parts of the world have arrived in the Homeland to take part in the 4th National Youth Festival scheduled to be held from 16 to 19 July in Sawa.
