639 students graduate from Halhale College of Business and Economics

A total of 639 students graduated today in degree and diploma from the Halhale College of Business and Economics. The graduates include 333 in degree and 306 in diploma in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Banking, Public Administration, Tourism and Hotel Management, as well as Secretarial Science. Halhale, 10 July 2010 – A total of 639 students graduated today in degree and diploma from the Halhale College of Business and Economics. The graduates include 333 in degree and 306 in diploma in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Banking, Public Administration, Tourism and Hotel Management, as well as Secretarial Science.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Dean of the College, Dr. Yemane Misgina, congratulated the graduates, parents and staff members and indicated that the College is taking concerted action to reinforce human resource development endeavors. He further pointed out that it is working diligently to nurture productive nationals through equipping them with the First and Masters degree in various fields of study.

The Minister of Tourism, Ms. Askalu Menkerios, awarded prizes to students who scored high marks in their academic studies, and stated that the Government is making substantial investment in developing human resource with a view to building a prosperous nation. She further indicated that it is giving top priority to the development of the education sector. A representative of the graduates asserted that they would live up to the nation’s expectations.

Present at the graduation ceremony were government officials, religious leaders, parents and invited guests.
