Social Service Institutions In Afabet Sub-Zone Make Due Contribution In Alleviating Social Problems

The putting in place of various infrastructure facilities over the past six months in Afabet sub-zone has made due contribution in alleviating social problems of  the inhabitants, stated Mr. Abdu Mohammed, administrator of the sub-zone. Afabet, 11 July 2010 – The putting in place of various infrastructure facilities over the past six months in Afabet sub-zone has made due contribution in alleviating social problems of  the inhabitants, stated Mr. Abdu Mohammed, administrator of the sub-zone.

He went on to add that the construction of an elementary school is nearly finalized and is expected to solve the shortage of classrooms in Naro Teb’at, Kamchowa and Afabet town.

Explaining that manual water pumps as well as 39 wells have been made available to the local inhabitants, Mr. Abdu disclosed that there are plan to construct dams and water reservoirs in the surrounding villages.

The Administrator further said that social service-rendering institutions have been put in place to address problems such as shortage of schools, potable water supply and reliable transport system.
