The Administration of the Central Region provided training on improving administrative skills to members. Asmara, 12 July 2010- The Administration of the Central Region provided training on improving administrative skills to members.
The training mainly focused on issues such as general principles of administration, problem solving and decision making, cultivating positive attitudes, proper utilization of office stationary, time management and other relevant topics.
Present at the completion of the training program, the Administrator of the Central Region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet, pointed out that the promotion of administrative skills ensures work efficiency and called on the members to strengthen their efforts for the successful realization of the nation-building endeavors.
Dr. Tesfay Gebremedhin, from the University of West Virginia, who provided the training said that a number of countries fall victim to corruption and poverty due to haphazard administration. He further explained that Eritrea should maintain and promote the efficient administrative principles cultivated during the armed struggle.
The participants on their part said that the training helped them identify their weak points and expressed readiness to apply what they have learned.
