220 Teachers, Supervisors And Head Of Education Branch Offices Receive Training

A total of 220 teachers, supervisors and heads of education branch offices in sub-zones of Anseba region received training.
Keren, 15 July 2010 – A total of 220 teachers, supervisors and heads of education branch offices in sub-zones of Anseba region received training.

The training focused on promoting the competence of teachers and students, enhancing relations between teachers and parents, the role of teachers and parents in nurturing reading habits, among others.

The head of the Education Ministry’s branch office in the Anseba region, Mr. Bokretsion  Habtemichael, called on teachers in general and supervisors in particular to discharge their duty responsibly so that citizens could make optimum use the provided educational opportunities.

The trainees on their part explained that the training was helpful in their work and has created an opportunity to exchange their work experience and share their knowledge.

Likewise, the branch office of the Ministry of Education in the region provided training to its staff members, area administrators and other partners concerning new policy of education to assist disabled citizens especially blind and hearing-impaired nationals to become self-supporting.
