The 4th National Eritrean Youth Festival in which tens of thousands of young Eritreans from inside the country and abroad will participate, will open tomorrow.
Sawa, 15 July 2010- The 4th National Eritrean Youth Festival in which tens of thousands of young Eritreans from inside the country and abroad will participate, will open tomorrow.
The Festival which will continue till 19 July, will include activities such as seminars, study papers, peer discussions, different cultural programs as well as artistic and sports competitions.
Pointing out the importance of the youth festival in cultivating patriotism and sharing historical heritage, the coordinating committee indicated that necessary preparations have been made to make the event a success.
It is to be noted that thousands of young Eritreans have arrived in the country to participate in the Festival.
Similarly, private service rendering ventures such as restaurants have also finalized their preparations and already began providing services.
Meanwhile, reports from the area indicate that sports competitions that had been underway since 10 July in Sawa to add more color to the event are continuing in high spirits.
The reports further indicated that teams from Saudi Arabia, Scandinavia and England as well as from higher education institutions in the country and Sawa vocational training center will engage in foot ball matches starting from 16 July.
