251 Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School Students Score Full Mark In The National High School Leaving Examinations
A total of 251 students of Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School – Sawa scored full mark, 4.0, in this year’s National High School Leaving Examinations.
Sawa, 17 July 2010 – A total of 251 students of Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School – Sawa scored full mark, 4.0, in this year’s National High School Leaving Examinations.
Mr. Kiflay Andemichael, Director of the school pointed out that the results registered this year have shown growth by over 40% as compared to the previous year’s scores in which 179 students scored full mark, amply demonstrating the relentless efforts made on the part of the school, teachers and students.
Mr. Kiflay further disclosed that the number of female students who scored full mark has risen from 32 to 63 and this indicates their growing competence in their academic pursuit.
Likewise, about 900 students have scored marks above 3.0 average in this year’s examinations.
In general, 253 students have scored full mark in the National High School Leaving Examinations this year, out of whom 251 are students from the Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School.
