Eritrean Youth Could Be An Important Example For All Young Africans: Youths From Libya, Sudan And Egypt

Youths from Libya, Sudan and Egypt who are participating in the 4th Eri-Youth Festival stated that the young generation Eritrea is cultivating could provide an important example for all young Africans.
Sawa, 18 July 2010- Youths from Libya, Sudan and Egypt who are participating in the 4th Eri-Youth Festival stated that the young generation Eritrea is cultivating could provide an important example for all young Africans.

The visiting youths went on to add that Eritrea has practically proven that a youth trained both in academy and military discipline is dually beneficial for a country’s development endeavors.

Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, who came from Libya told ERINA that the activities they witnessed in Sawa are quite amazing and that they realized all they have heard about Eritrea in the international media are indeed deliberate smear campaigns.

The coordinator of the Egyptian youth who are staging cultural shows in the festival, Ms. Suher Mohammed Badawi on her part said that she was impressed by the military parade presented by Eritrean young girls and pointed out that the participation of thousands of girls in the military training demonstrates the equal rights women enjoy in Eritrea.

Moreover, the three Sudanese youth associations who are participating in the festival stated that they have learned that the basis of Eritrea’s growing influence and importance in the region is the youth that it is cultivating.
