Women Attending Adult Education Graduate

As part of the efforts being made to eradicate illiteracy, women employed as part of the housekeeping staff in the Eritrean Institute of Technology (EIT) completed a five month basic education training and graduated on 16 July 2010.
Asmara, 18 July 2010- As part of the efforts being made to eradicate illiteracy, women employed as part of the housekeeping staff in the Eritrean Institute of Technology (EIT) completed a five month basic education training and graduated on 16 July 2010.

Coordinator of the program, Mr. Tesfu Gebremichael stated that commendable outcome was registered by the illiteracy campaigns carried out in the Gala-Nefhi sub zone and expressed appreciation of the cooperation extended by the EIT authorities.

Head of Student Affairs at the EIT, Mr. Woldemichael Gebretisa’e on his part explained that the Ministry of Education is giving due emphasis to the adult education programs and added that more women of the housekeeping staff will be included in future similar programs.
