Members of the 24th round of the National Service Program left for Sawa today to complete their 12th Grade education and fulfill their national obligation.
Asmara, 2 August 2010 – Members of the 24th round of the National Service Program left for Sawa today to complete their 12th Grade education and fulfill their national obligation.
The students were accorded warm sendoff on the part of parents, friends and the general public on their departure from their respective regions.
The students expressed conviction that Sawa would provide a viable ground towards realizing their vision of pursuing higher education and reinforcing nationalism. In this respect, they stated that they would strive to demonstrate excellence in the academic pursuit.
The parents on their part expressed goodwill that the students would honor the trust of the forefathers, and thereby live up to the nation’s expectations.
