Over 200,000 Krona And Over 43,000 Nakfa Contributed To Augment Martyrs’ Trust Fund

Nationals from inside the country and abroad donated over 200,000 Krona and over 43,000 Nakfa to augment the Martyrs Trust Fund.

Asmara, 8 August 2010 – Nationals from inside the country and abroad donated over 200,000 Krona and over 43,000 Nakfa to augment the Martyrs Trust Fund.

Eritrean communities residing in Sweden, Norway and Denmark have contributed 202,138 Krona towards the Fund.

Likewise, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, Mr. Ma’ekele Gebrehiwot , and Mr. Sulieman Adem Haji, all from Agordat contributed 10,000 Nakfa each. The money was then distributed among 40 families of fallen heroes in the sub-zone.

Also, nationals residing in Kassel, Germany have donated over 13,000 Nakfa in connection with commemorative event of June 20.
