Visiting Eritrean Nationals from the Netherlands Laud the Unparalleled Commitment of EDF Members

Eritrean nationals residing in the Netherlands who came to the Homeland to spend their vacation lauded the unparalleled commitment of members of the Eritrean Defense Force (EDF) in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and reinforcing the development drive.
Asmara, 9 August 2010 – Eritrean nationals residing in the Netherlands who came to the Homeland to spend their vacation lauded the unparalleled commitment of members of the Eritrean Defense Force (EDF) in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and reinforcing the development drive.

The nationals voiced their admiration while visiting  members of the Eastern Command in Assab and its surroundings.

The coordinators of the program said that the visiting nationals are deeply impressed with the implementation of development programs through the coordinated endeavors of the people and the Government, and the achievements so far registered. They further explained that the visit is aimed at expressing their readiness to fulfill what is expected of them.   

A representative of the EDF members on his part commended the initiatives taken by the nationals residing abroad and said that the visit fully attests to the strong attachment Eritrean citizens residing abroad maintain with the Homeland. In this respect,  he expressed conviction that Eritrea would attain prosperity shortly taking into account the major tasks being accomplished through the coordination of nationals at  home and abroad.
