Endeavors To Control Communicable Diseases In Southern Region Bearing Fruitful Outcome

A communicable diseases control committee held an assessment meeting in Mendefera town, during which it indicated that the undertaking of campaign and environmental sanitation activities in the Southern region to this end are bearing fruitful outcome.
Mendefera, 10 August 2010 – A communicable diseases control committee held an assessment meeting in Mendefera town, during which it indicated that the undertaking of campaign and environmental sanitation activities in the Southern region to this end are bearing fruitful outcome. 

The head of communicable diseases control unit in the region, Mr. Asefaw Gebremichael, said that coordinated endeavors are being made to control such diseases, and that diseases of this nature were not an issue of serious concern as a result of the growing public awareness.
