Asmara, 15 August 2010 – In line with its infrastructural development projects and quality control endeavors, Gedec Company is making due contribution in upgrading the skills of young professionals- assigned to work there from different colleges, Eng. Mekonen Habtesion, manager of the company disclosed.
Pointing out that the company’s main task is engineering work for infrastructure and housing as well as supervising the quality of similar projects, Mr. Mekonen said that the Gedec strives to promote the knowledge and practical experience of newly assigned members.
Eng. Dermas Kiflemariam, who began work in 2003, said that Gedec has helped him to practice the knowledge he acquired, and that now he is able to prepare projects independently. Similarly, Ms. Me’aza Tsegai, who was assigned to work there from the Mai-Nefhi College, said that she has been able to promote her knowledge and experience.
Gedec Company, which was established in 1996, has over 100 employees.
