In continuation of the donation being made by Eritrean citizens inside the country and abroad to augment the Martyrs’ Trust Fund and support war-disabled veterans, a total of 120,000 Nakfa has been contributed for both causes. Asmara, 17 August 2010 – In continuation of the donation being made by Eritrean citizens inside the country and abroad to augment the Martyrs’ Trust Fund and support war-disabled veterans, a total of 120,000 Nakfa has been contributed for both causes.
Accordingly, Eritrean nationals residing in Washington D.C. and its environs donated 70,000 Nakfa in assistance to war-disabled veterans.
Meanwhile, the family of Mr. Teklai Haile along with his wife Mrs. Teke’a Tesfazgi, contributed 40,000 Nakfa to augment the Martyrs’ Trust Fund, out of the money intended for the inaugural ceremony of their newly built residential house. A total of 10,000 Nakfa has also been donated for the same cause in the name of the late Tsegai Haile, according to the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare.
