In the meetings held at the Denden Hall focusing on regional issues, the President stated that the Eritrean government is striving to promote peace and stability in the Horn region, and that such modest role would be enhanced.

President Isaias further indicated that neither issue could be resolved in isolation nor peace and stability ensured in isolation, and as such the prevailing issues in the region should be viewed within a comprehensive context. He went on to say that handling the issue of peace and stability in the region in such a manner would not only serve to promote harmony and economic prosperity of the peoples in the region but also benefit partners.

Moreover, extensive discussions were conducted on the available investment opportunities in Eritrea and the potential domains in which French and Norwegian owners of capital could invest.
