Efforts To Secure Environmental Sanitation In Kachero Administrative Area Register Positive Outcome

Kachero, 29 August 2010 – The program of expansion of latrines in the administrative area of Kachero to promote environmental sanitation and control communicable diseases is registering positive outcome.

The head of social service in Gash-Barka, Mr. Abdulahi Al-Amin, said that diseases which prevailed due to lack of hygiene   previously are on the decline. He pointed out that such progress was made possible through the relentless effort of the people at community level.
