The NUEW branch in Agordat sub-zone extended cattle in assistance to 60 women bread earners in the sub-zone. The beneficiaries are from the administrative areas of Aderde, Ingerne, Shelab, Elabanai, Deret, Gusiti, Hawagu, Karshimla and Degesei, and that each of them received 5 goats.
Agordat, 3 September 2010 – The NUEW branch in Agordat sub-zone extended cattle in assistance to 60 women bread earners in the sub-zone. The beneficiaries are from the administrative areas of Aderde, Ingerne, Shelab, Elabanai, Deret, Gusiti, Hawagu, Karshimla and Degesei, and that each of them received 5 goats.
Meanwhile, the branch office distributed smokeless ovens to about 500 families in the sub-zone, besides offering training course to 30 women on the use of Moringa tree, according to Ms. Afiet Saleh, head of NUEW branch in the sub-zone.
She further pointed out that training course would be provided shortly to 20 women on handcraft, and added that the planted moringa trees are in good condition.
