Donations in support of martyrs’ families being stepped up

Eritrean citizens living in the Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands extended financial assistance to families of fallen heroes.
Asmara, 4 September 2010 – Eritrean citizens living in the Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands extended financial assistance to families of fallen heroes.

Accordingly, Eritrean nationals residing in Sweden, Norway and Denmark donated a total of 24,570 crooners, while those in Amsterdam and its environs contributed 10,000 Nakfa towards augmenting the Martyrs’ Trust Fund.

It is to be noted that on top of the support being extended by the Government to families of martyrs, nationals inside the country and abroad are making all-round contribution in support of martyrs’ families.
