The Keranakudo health center is now providing commendable service to the inhabitants of Habela, Keranakudo and Deda administrative areas, Logo-Anseba sub-zone, as a result of the improvements being introduced.
Keren, 6 September 2010 – The Keranakudo health center is now providing commendable service to the inhabitants of Habela, Keranakudo and Deda administrative areas, Logo-Anseba sub-zone, as a result of the improvements being introduced.
The local inhabitants said that the Center is making due contribution in ensuring public health and that the prevalence of diseases has dramatically dropped. They further noted that pregnant mothers are receiving the necessary medical checkups, besides the provision of vaccines to children and mothers, as well as other types of treatments against various diseases.
The head of the Center, Mr. Alexander Tekeste, told ERINA that the installation of a 24-hour solar energy-generated electricity service last year played vital role in upgrading the capacity of the Center.
