Eritrean cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot stood 31st by improving his rank by 11 in the third phase of the Tour de l’Avernir race yesterday.
Asmara, 9 September 2010 – Eritrean cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot stood 31st by improving his rank by 11 in the third phase of the Tour de l’Avernir race yesterday.
The previous leading cyclist in the race, Alex Dewst, from the UK stood at 74th rank by finishing 23 seconds behind the first group in the competition.
The third competition of the Tour de l’Avenir race covered 150 Km. in which Belgian Yanik, Colombian Dorwi and American Anduru cyclists stood 1st to 3rd rank respectively.
Eritrean cyclist Daniel and his teammate Grigor from the Czech Republic managed to improve the rank of their respective teams from the 12th to the 4th rank by scoring better results in yesterday’s competition. The national team of Colombia is leading in the competition, according to reports.
The 4th phase of the Tour de l’Avenir that covers 183 Km. is taking place today.
