Parents In Adi-Keih Called Upon To Encourage Children To Pursuit Their Academic Properly

Parents in Adi-Keih sub-zone have been called upon to encourage their children to seriously pursue their academic studies from early on, the head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, Mr. Zaid Tekle stated.
Adi-Keih, 19 September 2010 – Parents in Adi-Keih sub-zone have been called upon to encourage their children to seriously pursue their academic studies from early on, the head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, Mr. Zaid Tekle stated.

Stressing the need for teachers and students to commence this year’s studies on the set time, Mr. Zaid emphasized the need for coordinated work to avoid unnecessary delays.

Mr. Zaid indicated that concerted efforts should be undertaken to enable students of the 23 schools in Adi-Keih to score commendable results. She further reminded parents who are engaged in farming and grazing to supervise and send their children to school.

Reports disclosed that there are 21 elementary, 8 junior and 3 Secondary schools, as well as 7 community-based kindergarten schools in Adi-keih sub-zone.
