A water project in Adi-Gombolo, Gala -Nefhi sub-zone, constructed at a cost of more than 3 million Nakfa was inaugurated by the Administrator of Central region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet.
Gala-Nefhi, 26 September 2010 – A water project in Adi-Gombolo, Gala -Nefhi sub-zone, constructed at a cost of more than 3 million Nakfa was inaugurated by the Administrator of Central region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet.
The director general of economic development in the Central region, Mr. Yemane Abay, said that the project comprises of pipelines distributed over 3 Kms and a reservoir of 250 barrels, solar energy device and 4 supply stations.
The Administrator of Gala-Nefih sub-zone, Mr. Solomon Haile on his part explained that local inhabitants who were compelled to travel to neighboring villages to fetch water, are now able to obtain water nearby.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Kahsai called on the inhabitants to wisely utilize the available potable water supply, and enhance input in the on-going developmental activities.
